Hey Ranman,
I do mixed martial arts grappling at Amorosi's Ultimate Karate.
I go to some grapplers quests and nagas during the year when they are near me. I have won both tournaments I have done so far.
I love grappling more than kickboxing but less then kata.
See ya, XMAFANATIC
There is grappling in all styles of karate. It is within the forms, in Japanese/Okinawan it is called Tuite Jutsu. There are also a great many nerve and pressure point strikes, as well as KO' s and the like. It is called bunkai in Japanese/Okinawan and Bunseok in Korean (hangul). But its there if you take the time to explore the traditional/classical forms (kata). I am all for sports too, but tradition is of the greatest value ;-)
Well Ill got for now,

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (but I choose not to compete in tournaments), catch-as-catch-can wrestling, and ASW (better known as Apartment Submission wrestling). I'll have a kick butt video up on my myspace soon of some pretty awesome grappling.
